Who We Are
Frontier Healthcare Group was formed in 2002 through the merger of 3 general practice clinics, and now operates 18 clinics across Singapore, under the Qualitas Health Network.
Our team of family doctors is dedicated to delivering high standards of care in the community. With extensive training in Family Medicine, our doctors are well-equipped to manage a broad range of primary care conditions. Our group also prioritizes regular education sessions to ensure our doctors remain up-to-date with the latest developments in the field, so that they can deliver evidence-based care tailored to the needs of every patient.
Forging New Paths in Primary Care
In 2012, we initiated the Primary Care Network (PCN) in Singapore in partnership with the Agency for Integrated Care. This model has now grown into a nationally-endorsed framework. The Frontier PCN includes a collaboration with nurses and care coordinators to offer holistic team-based care for chronic disease management.
Our group launched the first Family Medicine Clinic in Clementi in 2013. This medical centre was established in collaboration with the National University Hospital (NUH) to provide quality care for patients with chronic conditions discharged from tertiary hospitals to the primary care setting.
In 2023, we launched our second Family Medicine Clinic in Macpherson, with an additional focus in managing mental health conditions and promoting mental wellness.
Our group is also collaborating with various healthcare agencies on projects designed to enhance patient care and to deliver more effective health solutions.
Advancing Medical Education
Our family physicians are actively engaged in teaching roles in post-graduate Family Medicine training, working closely with the National University Health System (NUHS) and the College of Family Physicians Singapore (CFPS).
Since 2011, our group has played a pivotal role in the NUHS Family Medicine Residency Program, taking residents through clinical attachments and teaching sessions. Since 2015, we have been sponsoring the Gold Medal Award for top graduates in the Diploma in Health Services Management program at Republic Polytechnic, recognizing exceptional academic performance in training future healthcare administrators.
We remain committed to shaping the future of Family Medicine so that we can improve patient care for years to come.
Looking Ahead
In 2021, Qualitas Healthcare became a strategic investor in our group, positioning us for further expansion and growth in Singapore. We are dedicated to becoming leaders in primary care in Singapore, setting new benchmarks for excellence in the practice of Family Medicine in the long term.
