Yellow Fever Vaccine in Singapore – Travel Medicine

What is Yellow Fever?

Yellow Fever is a serious viral infection spread by infected mosquitoes, mainly in parts of Africa and South America.

It can cause fever, muscle pain, jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes), and bleeding.

In severe cases, Yellow Fever can lead to organ failure and death.

There is no specific cure for Yellow Fever, but it can be effectively prevented with vaccination.

This is why the yellow fever vaccine is an important travel vaccination for Singapore travellers visiting endemic countries.
