What is CHAS?
The Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS) is a national programme by Singapore’s Ministry of Health (MOH) that provides subsidies for medical and dental care at participating GP clinics and dental clinics.
With CHAS, Singapore Citizens can receive subsidies for:
- Common illnesses (e.g. cough, flu, fever)
- Chronic disease management (e.g. diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol)
- Healthier SG health screenings
- Nationally-recommended vaccinations
- Childhood developmental screenings and vaccinations
- Subsidized referrals to specialists at public hospitals and dental centres
CHAS Subsidies
All Singapore Citizens are eligible to apply for CHAS. The subsidy amount depends on your household monthly income per person or Annual Value (AV) of your home.
